Pondering the creativity of magazines
Some say that the spread of the Internet has brought about the decline of the once-prosperous magazine culture of the past. The fact of the matter is, however, that we are currently in the midst of an intense ‘zine boom and reevaluation of the capabilities of magazines and print media with outstanding design. There is still an abundance of magazines out there that defy the odds with groundbreaking ideas and sense. At Tokyo Graphic Passport we will be holding a conference to which we have invited the art directors and editors of such richly magazines from around the world. Come and experience the forefront of the sense and culture of our times and share in moment where a whole new generation of creativity is born.
